The Brisbane ABC Gardeneing Expo was attended for the first time in mid April and proved to be a great opportunity to bring Franchi seeds to a new group of customers. It was good to have online customers make themselves known and relate their gardening and cooking experiences. One was full of praise for SQUASH rugosa Friulana, which was highly productive and produced very flavoursome zucchini-like fruit. Given that this particular variety comes from Fruilli, in the foothills of the Alps, it is pleasing to hear of its success in the tropics.
