	“Round beetroot from Chioggia” has spherical, light red roots with alternating layers of white and pale red flesh. The sweetest beet you will ever eat, and even people who do not normally like beets love these. Young tops from are excellent in salads. Packet contains 9g seed.   Direct plant from date of last frost in rows 25cm apart and thin to one plant every 10cm. 60 or so days to maturity, but pick anytime after they are 5cm in diameter. Make sure the top of the beet's bulb is covered with soil; this keeps the entire bulb the same color and prevents 'corkiness' at the top of the bulb.	QTY:
